“Gregory” is the name of the latest collaboration between Flexform and the designer Antonio Citterio; it comes in the form of an elegant sofa. Though the beautiful piece of furniture may, in many instances, find a place along the wall, it is anything but a wallflower. On the contrary, it creates a striking focal point in the living room. Yet, its well-tailored cushions not only attract attention, but practically invite you to sit down. After all, the Italian company, which emerged in 1959 from the craftsman’s workshop of the Galimberti family, does have a little experience. And to this day the furniture manufacturer produces all its pieces in Europe, at its headquarters in Meda.

Its base, for example, sets gentle accents underneath the inviting seat cushions by combining austere metal with warm leather: The leather covers the visible parts of the straps that are stretched around the metal and hold the cushions.
