The Pot
Sometimes, people and plants have more in common than one might think: both need the right environment to blossom. For example, houseplants need the right pot. The same can be said for people, in a way. That is why the iconic chair “The Pot” by Arne Jacobsen offers a comfortable spot to dream and nurture budding ideas, and to think up strategies to bring them to fruition. The chair, which is produced by Fritz Hansen, was designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1959. And while its shape still corresponds to the original design, the materials have been adapted to meet today’s standards. “The Pot” is available in a wide variety of fabrics and leathers – you’ll find two examples at the Wohnidee boutique in Lucerne.
